International Baptist World Missions Ministry
International Baptist Church
A Ministry of International Baptist Church
In 1976, Pastor John R. Morgan moved from North Carolina to the New York City area to
begin the International Baptist Church. God blessed abundantly , and through missions,
the ministry has grown to include five churches. Multiple soul winning ministries, an
extensive bus ministry, Spanish ministry, a large deaf and deaf/blind department, summer
camps and two Christian day schools with grades K3 through 12.
More than 300 young people have felt God's call on their lives for full-time service. To
equip them, a Bible college ministry was started on the Stony Brook, Long Island campus
in 2002.
Three goals of the International Bible College are:
1) to train men to start churches in America's inner cities;
2) to train men to start church in Northeast, USA, where many cities of over 50,000 do not
have a single Baptist church; and
3) to train immigrants who are called to their homelands to plant Baptist churches.
New York City is known as the burial ground of evangelism! Ministries have come and
gone in NYC. Crusades by the dozens have been held. The key to discipleship, however,
is to plant local, Bible-believing, Baptist churches to help converts reach their full potential
for the Lord.
